Ruqayya Alblooshi serves as the Executive Director for International Relations and Government Knowledge Exchange at the Prime Minister’s Office of the United Arab Emirates. She oversees the development of strategic partnerships between UAE government agencies and international organizations like the World Economic Forum, UN, OECD, WTO, IMF, WIPO, and the African Union.
Her skills in collaboration and relationship building have strengthened these partnerships through joint programs, agreements, and representations across all platforms. She contributed to the UAE’s efforts to advance sustainable development, including launching the first Circular Economy policy and the National Circular Economy council in the UAE. She has also managed the UAE’s official delegation’s participation at the Davos conference and the signing of high-level agreements between the Forum and the UAE, further enhancing the country’s global presence and influence.
She previously served as Director of International Affairs and has held senior policy, government identity, and project leadership roles. Ruqayya also serves as Vice Chair of the Board of Directors at the Harvard UAE Club. She holds a master’s degree in international relations from Harvard University.
