Her Royal Highness Princess Reema bint Bandar Al Saud has been the Saudi ambassador to the United States for seven years, making her the first woman in Saudi Arabia to hold this role. Before that, she established Alf Khair, a social enterprise dedicated to improving professional skills and promoting financial independence among Saudi women.
After earning a BA in museum studies from George Washington University, she returned to Saudi Arabia and became a pioneer in the private sector. She co-founded one of the Kingdom’s first women’s gyms and served as CEO of a leading luxury retail company, where she promoted female inclusion and implemented innovative workplace support programs for women. In public service, she advanced women’s participation in sports and community events, becoming the first woman to lead a multi-sports federation.
