Lamia Alsobail is the Director of Sector Enablement at the Ministry of Tourism, Saudi Arabia, where she leads strategic initiatives to empower and support key tourism sectors and accelerate sustainable growth across the industry. Prior to this role, she worked at the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), where she contributed to digital enablement, policy initiatives, and cross-government programmes supporting the Kingdom’s ICT and digital transformation agenda.
She combines public-sector expertise with strategic development capabilities to enable high-impact outcomes for Saudi Arabia’s expanding tourism ecosystem. Lamia also holds academic credentials from the University of Baltimore.
