Saudi Arabia’s sovereign wealth fund-backed AI company, Humain, has announced a partnership with Adobe and Qualcomm to develop content creation tools in Arabic and for the broader Middle East.

Under the partnership, Abode will be integrating Arabic large language model Allam into its suite of apps used to create marketing campaigns, films, and television shows, while Humain will use the Adobe Firefly Foundry to “create tailored, generative AI models unique to the Arab world.”

“We are building a new creative intelligence that understands our language, our values, our heritage, and our future with Adobe,” said Tareq Amin, CEO of Humain. “With the addition of Qualcomm into the collaboration, we will redefine the silicon that powers the next era of generative AI. Together, we are leading in developing creative AI for a new global era.”

The announcement was followed by Humain partnering with Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) and Cisco to form a joint venture to build data centers in the region. The JV has secured its first customer, whose identity has not yet been disclosed, and is expected to start operations in 2026.

The three also announced the first phase of the project, a 100-megawatt data center in Saudi.

“Delivering high-performance global AI infrastructure at scale requires strong partnerships.  Together with HUMAIN and Cisco, we’re combining leadership compute and networking technologies to expand the capacity and global competitiveness of the Kingdom’s AI ecosystem,” said Lisa Su, chair and CEO of AMD.

AMD also announced it was establishing an AMD Center of Excellence in Saudi Arabia to further accelerate local integration and innovation.

“Our expanded partnership with HUMAIN, together with AMD, will mark a pivotal moment in accelerating Saudi Arabia’s AI infrastructure,” said Chuck Robbins, chair and CEO of Cisco.

AMD and Cisco will serve as exclusive technology partners, contributing their offerings to develop up to 1 GW of AI infrastructure by 2030.

“Together, we are pushing the frontier of AI compute, bringing up to 1 GW of high-performance, cost-efficient infrastructure online in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to empower innovators both in the Kingdom and around the world,” said Amin.

Notably, Cisco and AMD signed separate deals with Humain earlier this year.
