Zoho Corporation has announced the launch of its first data centers in the Middle East, with new facilities now operational in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, marking a significant step in the company’s long-term regional expansion strategy.
The launch follows Zoho’s AED 100 million investment plan announced in 2023 and represents its first in-country cloud infrastructure deployment in the UAE. The data centers will host more than 100 cloud-based applications from Zoho’s portfolio, as well as solutions from its IT management division, ManageEngine.
With local infrastructure now live, Zoho said customers in the UAE and neighbouring markets will benefit from improved performance, lower latency, and greater service reliability. The move also enables in-country data storage, addressing increasing demand from enterprises and government entities for localised cloud services that comply with data residency requirements.
According to the company, hosting data within the UAE allows Zoho to better align with regulatory and compliance frameworks, while supporting national priorities around data sovereignty.
The facilities are certified by the Dubai Electronic Security Center (DESC) and comply with several global standards, for information security management, business continuity, and cloud security.
These certifications position Zoho to serve a broad spectrum of customers, including government departments, semi-government organisations, and local enterprises that require high levels of security and compliance assurance.
Zoho said the launch reflects steady growth in the UAE, driven by rising customer adoption, an expanding partner ecosystem, and continued investment in local teams. Rather than short-term market entry, the company emphasised its focus on building long-term infrastructure and operational capabilities in the region.
