Sekhon oversees technology strategy, innovation, digitization, network operations, rollout, planning, and quality for Airtel India and South Asia. He has over 28 years of experience in the telecom industry. Before joining Airtel, Sekhon was CEO of Hutchison 3 Indonesia, leading customer-centric and digital transformation initiatives.

He held board member roles at Indus Towers, Robi Axiata, Firefly Networks, and Dialog Axiata and spearheaded Airtel’s technology and network transformation, including 5G rollout and digital innovation. He led business transformation and efficiency improvements at Hutchison 3 Indonesia. He has a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree from Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College, Ludhiana.
