Vania has been the chief technology officer at Adani Ports and SEZ since June 2024. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in electronics and communication from Shantilal Shah Engineering College, Bhavnagar, and a Master’s in Management Studies.

With over 23 years of experience in the shipping, port, and logistics industry, Vania is recognized for his digital strategy, technology transformation, and large-scale IT project management expertise. His held leadership roles at GTL Ltd, IBM, Oracle, Future Group India, and, most recently, as V-P of technology at Reliance Jio, where he played a key role in developing telecom technologies.

At Adani Ports, he led technology integration for India’s first automated container terminal and executed multiple port mergers and acquisitions. He is focused on advancing digital solutions to improve operational efficiency.
