As governments and enterprises across the Middle East pursue ambitious digital transformation agendas aligned with national development strategies, the role of strategic partnerships in enabling scalable innovation has grown increasingly critical.
In this context, the expansion of high-impact alliances between global technology leaders and regional institutions is shaping the future of digital infrastructure, workforce capability, and sectoral competitiveness.
Against this backdrop, Deloitte Middle East and Amazon Web Services (AWS) have announced a significant expansion of their strategic alliance, with a shared goal of delivering $1 billion in digital services across the region by 2030.
Unveiled during a leadership meeting at Deloitte’s Dubai offices, the collaboration aims to accelerate cloud adoption, AI integration, and digital resilience across priority sectors. By leveraging AWS’s advanced cloud-native technologies and Deloitte’s transformation expertise, the initiative is positioned to support regional organizations in modernizing operations, enhancing agility, and driving innovation at scale.
“This initiative is a major step forward in our mission to drive large-scale transformation for organizations across the region,” said Rashid Bashir, Technology and Transformation Leader at Deloitte Middle East.
The effort will focus on key industries—including financial services, energy, public sector, and healthcare—and will emphasize areas such as cloud strategy, application modernization, cybersecurity, and AI development. To support implementation, Deloitte will expand its AWS-certified workforce and establish regional Centres of Excellence.
“This collaboration means Deloitte and AWS can bring their proven methodology for industry solutions to customers in the Middle East,” said Tanuja Randery, Managing Director for Europe, Middle East and Africa at AWS.
