  • As the digital economy becomes a defining force in global competitiveness, GITEX Global 2025 returns to the Dubai World Trade Centre from October 13–17, convening more than 40 exhibition halls of cutting-edge technology, high-level policy dialogue, and future-forward innovation.

This year’s event places a strong emphasis on agentic AI, cybersecurity resilience, and the future of digital public infrastructure—critical themes also explored in the MIT Sloan Management Review Middle East’s GITEX special print edition, which examines regional cyber readiness and features the 50 most influential AI leaders in the Middle East shaping the future of digital governance.

A central theme at this year’s GITEX will be the rise of agentic AI, a new class of artificial intelligence systems designed to act with autonomy, proactively make decisions, and take initiative in complex environments.

As an official media partner for GITEX GLOBAL, MIT Sloan Management Review Middle East will maintain a dedicated on-ground presence at Dubai World Trade Centre, capturing the pulse of this year’s most transformative tech showcases. Through exclusive interviews and live insights, the publication will spotlight regional and global trends shaping digital leadership, while delivering real-time reportage and thought leadership content. Key editorial focus areas will include strategic AI adoption, cyber defense readiness, and the evolution of digital infrastructure as a driver of public value.

With Dubai at the forefront of digital transformation, Digital Dubai is spearheading the emirate’s participation at the event this year through the Dubai Government Pavilion, which will bring together over 50 government and private entities. The pavilion will unveil new initiatives and cross-sector collaborations that reflect Dubai’s ambition to lead in smart city development, AI integration, and citizen-centric innovation.

“I am confident that the Dubai Government Pavilion at GITEX Global 2025 will offer visitors an exceptional experience, delivering practical knowledge, applied insights, and a broad outlook on the digital future,” said H.E. Hamad Obaid Al Mansoori, Director General of Digital Dubai. “Through this remarkable event, Dubai once again demonstrates its position as a global hub where the present is shaped, the future is created, and innovation and creativity serve as the pillars of progress.”

As explored in MIT SMR Middle East’s GITEX issue, the Middle East is entering a new era of digital agency, where AI is not just a tool but a strategic enabler for public value, productivity, and resilience. With Dubai at the forefront, GITEX Global 2025 is more than a showcase, it is a staging ground for the next phase of digitally enabled leadership in the region and beyond.
