Deepak Prasad is Chief Technology Officer at Vedanta India, bringing over three decades of experience in the aluminium and power sectors. His leadership has catalyzed advancements in digital transformation, product innovation, and sustainability. Projects such as the V-Safe safety app, rainwater harvesting systems, and waste detoxification technologies reflect his commitment to operational excellence and environmental stewardship.
He was appointed CTO of Vedanta Limited, Jharsuguda in April 2022 after serving in senior roles within the company’s aluminium business. Previously, he held key leadership positions at Bharat Aluminium Company Ltd (BALCO).
Prasad also champions inclusive talent development and organizational efficiency, making him a pivotal figure in Vedanta’s sustainability and innovation roadmap.
