Google Launches Budget-Friendly ‘AI Plus’ Plan in India
The new subscription plan includes several of Google’s advanced AI capabilities in a single offering.

Google has introduced its new AI Plus plan in India, aiming to widen access to its latest artificial intelligence tools at a relatively affordable price point. The rollout comes as AI-driven apps, such as the Gemini app and NotebookLM, gain traction among Indian users, who are experimenting with everything from content creation to research assistance.
The new subscription plan included several of Google’s advanced AI capabilities in a single offering. Subscribers get expanded access to Gemini 3 Pro, the company’s most powerful model currently available in the Gemini app, along with more usage of Nano Banana Pro, Google’s latest image-generation and editing model. Video generation tools and creative features like Flow are also included.
Beyond standalone apps, Google has started weaving Gemini directly into everyday services, such as Gmail and Docs, offering AI-driven drafting, editing, and organizational features.
The plan also extends access to NotebookLM, Google’s research and analysis tool, designed for users who require more in-depth document synthesis and long-form insights.
To make the bundle more practical for households, the plan allows sharing with up to five additional family members. Subscribers also receive 200 GB of cloud storage across Google Photos, Drive, and Gmail.
Google AI Plus is available starting December 10 at ₹399 per month, with a promotional offer of ₹199 per month for the first six months for new users.
